Welcome!
The Sandymount Basketball program, #BAS081, is run by the Sandymount
Recreation Council, Finksburg, MD, and runs from November through March. This co-ed recreation basketball program provides an opportunity for
more than 240 boys and girls, grades Kindergarten through 9th grade, to learn the fundamentals
of basketball while having fun. An entirely in-house program played in the
Sandymount and Mechanicsville Elementary School gymnasiums, our volunteers coach as many as 24 teams
in five age-group divisions. Our program goals
are clearly stated and begin with providing a FUN experience for our players and
their families.
